SAEDNEWS: Many people think the best place for a trip is abroad, while Iran is actually the best and most fascinating destination, especially for fall travel.
According to SAEDNEWS, Autumn is one of the best times for travel, as there’s no sign of heavy, hours-long traffic on the roads, and tourist attractions are free from crowds. Iran is a four-season country with pristine and picturesque spots, making it an excellent choice for autumn adventures.
Jangal-e Abr (Cloud Forest) has long been one of the main destinations for romantic autumn travelers. Located 45 kilometers north of Shahroud, on the Shahroud to Azadshahr route, and 12 kilometers from Abr Village, this forest is part of the world’s oldest forests, the Hyrcanian Forests. These forests, which date back millions of years to the Jurassic period (the third geological era), are home to a wide variety of plant and animal species. They offer some of the most unforgettable scenery for photography, making them a favorite spot for selfie enthusiasts.
Semnan, with its "Rig-e Jenn" desert, "Pahneh Bath," and numerous natural and historical attractions, is considered a pristine destination for dedicated tourism enthusiasts from both inside and outside the country. Its nature becomes even more enchanting in the fall, offering a dreamlike experience.
The Naharkhoran Forest in Gorgan, the beautiful Asalem to Khalkhal road, and the Alimestan Forest or the lush, dreamlike Landvil area—full of waterfalls and multicolored trees—are among Iran’s pristine nature tourism destinations in autumn. Naharkhoran spans over 300 hectares and is considered one of Iran's top autumn travel spots. Historically, it served as a resting place for pilgrims on their way to Mecca, where they would stop to rest and have lunch, giving the forest its name.
Lar Plain, with its unparalleled beauty, is located at the foothills of Mount Damavand in the Larijan district of Amol County, Mazandaran Province.
In the past, this plain was a retreat for kings escaping the heat. Lar Plain boasts a rich diversity of flora and fauna. Plants such as astragalus, thyme, chicory, and licorice grow abundantly here.
The plain is also home to a wide range of wildlife, including leopards, wolves, foxes, golden eagles, Alborz vipers, monitor lizards, lizards, brown bears, wild boars, ibexes, rams, ewes, deer, and more.
Churat Lake is one of the most beautiful lakes in Iran, boasting breathtaking autumn scenery. The lake, located in northeastern Mazandaran, was formed about 70 years ago due to an earthquake that blocked the path of a nearby spring.
The lake's original name is Miyansheh, but it is more commonly known as Churat Lake due to its proximity to a village of the same name.
Varzaneh Desert, spanning over 1,000 square kilometers, is located approximately 100 kilometers from Isfahan in the city of Varzaneh, situated between Yazd and Isfahan.
The desert features a variety of sand dunes sculpted by wind erosion, creating some of the most stunning natural landscapes. In this desert, the only sound breaking the silence and tranquility is the gentle whistling of the wind.
