SAEDNEWS: The Russian Navy is continuing to evolve, with its role in the country's nuclear deterrence strategy becoming increasingly significant. President Vladimir Putin highlighted the navy's growing capabilities in a congratulatory message marking Navy Day.

Russian Navy Continues to Advance, Says Putin

According to Saednews, Russia’s naval forces are continuing to modernize as the country strengthens the maritime component of its nuclear triad, President Vladimir Putin said. He noted that serial production of warships and specialized vessels is ongoing, while advanced weapons and equipment are being introduced across submarine, surface, coastal, and naval aviation units.

Putin also praised Russian naval personnel, saying they continue to uphold and build upon the long-standing traditions of the Russian Navy.

He emphasized the strategic importance of the navy, noting that Russia borders 13 seas and relies on its naval forces to help safeguard national defense, security, and its interests across the world's oceans.

According to Putin, the Russian Navy is fully capable of carrying out the wide range of missions assigned to it. He added that the professionalism of Russian sailors continues to improve through both specialized military training and operational experience in combat, enabling them to adapt quickly to changing strategic and tactical conditions.
