SAEDNEWS: The Qeshlaq Bridge (Gheshlagh Bridge) lies on the Gheshlagh River, 3 km. east of Sanandaj.
This brick bridge dates back to the Safavid period and features two large arches alongside four smaller spans. Measuring approximately 5.80 meters in width and 90 meters in length, the bridge is flanked by base pillars equipped with water breakers in both circular and triangular shapes.
Two Qajar-period inscriptions adorn the main structure: one records the original construction date as 1148 AH, while the other notes a repair carried out in 1334 AH.
