In this regard, "Sattar Hoshmi," the Minister of Communications and Information Technology, spoke today (Monday) with IRNA about the key focus areas for the development of the space industry. He said, "At the Ministry of Communications, we believe in balanced development across different sectors, which requires sustainable growth. However, what excites me personally, and what I actively participate in, is the goal of achieving access to GEO orbit, which is vastly different from LEO orbit."

Hoshmi emphasized, "The appeal of this goal lies in the technological complexities of GEO orbit. Reaching it must be done with extreme precision, in a series of careful steps. Getting to this orbit doesn't happen in a moment but in a fraction of a second, and part of the process involves using artificial intelligence. Reaching the 35,000-kilometer orbit is both a challenging and fascinating task."

The Minister expressed optimism that the first research mission to GEO orbit will take place before the year ends, calling it a crucial preliminary step that could pave the way for future advancements.

He also added, "We hope this launch will take place from within the country. At this stage, the success or failure of the mission is not our primary concern, as it marks the first step in our journey, allowing us to test our capabilities."
