SAEDNEWS: Iran and China completed the semi-final line-up in the 15th Asian Men’s U18 Volleyball Championship at the Isa Sport City Hall C Friday night.
According to SAEDNEWS, Both teams emerged victorious in their Pool E matchups during the Top Eight round, setting the stage for thrilling matchups in the Final Four this Saturday.
The Iranian squad, fresh off their silver medal performance from the 2022 competition, eliminated the host team Bahrain with a convincing 3-0 victory. They’re now poised to face Japan, the champions of Group F, in what promises to be an exciting showdown Saturday evening.
Meanwhile, China cruised past Thailand with a commanding 3-0 win and will take on Pakistan in another highly anticipated semifinal starting at 4:30 PM.
Iran dominated their match against Bahrain, finishing with a score of 3-0 (25-12, 25-20, 25-14) to secure seven points and claim the runner-up spot in their group.
On the other hand, China showcased their strength with a resounding 3-0 victory over Thailand (25-10, 25-13, 25-20), leaving no room for their opponents to find their rhythm.
