Iran’s National Security Commission Denies Claims of Arms Exports to Russia

According to SAEDNEWS, The Iranian Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Commission has dismissed recent allegations made by Western countries about Iran supplying weapons to Russia. They called these claims "unfounded and empty."

In their statement, the Commission criticized Western nations for making false accusations, asserting that these claims are intended to distract from their own roles in the conflicts in Gaza and Ukraine. They highlighted a need for peace and friendship globally and expressed concern over the double standards they see from some Western countries.

The Commission pointed out that ongoing violence and humanitarian disasters, especially in Gaza, result from the support given by the United States and Europe to what they describe as the "criminal" Israeli regime. They condemned the war crimes and human rights violations occurring in the region.

Regarding the war in Ukraine, the Commission reaffirmed Iran's position, stating that NATO's expansion by its member countries is a key factor in the current crisis. They noted that even European allies have rejected the accusations against Iran regarding arms exports, making it particularly troubling that England, France, and Germany continue to threaten Iran with tougher sanctions despite the lack of evidence.

The Commission urged these European countries and others to join in a global movement against war crimes instead of propagating false claims that disrupt peace efforts.
