According to SAEDNEWS, Is living without water even possible? A 92-year-old woman has reportedly managed to completely stop drinking water for good after changing her lifestyle following a certain illness.
Narassama, a 92-year-old woman from Bengaluru, India, decided to stop drinking water at the age of 14 due to a certain illness. She has reportedly not consumed water for nearly 80 years, and she has rarely shared this fact with anyone outside her family, as she knows that others would find it difficult to believe her claim.

The elderly Indian woman explains the beginning of her unusual lifestyle as follows: when she was 14 years old, she suffered from a strange illness that caused her throat to become extremely dry, so she was forced to drink 10 liters of water daily. After some time, the doctor said that to remove excess water from her body she needed to undergo a 48-hour “sweat therapy”; after completing this difficult process, she decided never to drink water again and claims she succeeded.
After years, by participating in a 36-day water-free tour, she became convinced that her body was strong enough and that she could survive without water, according to the website Oddity Central.
She wears moist clothing to withstand heat and help control her body’s hydration level. She only eats rice, dried fruits, and nuts, spends five hours a day in prayer and worship, and fasts at least 10 days a month.
After the news and images of this Indian woman were published, scientists conducted investigations which, according to the reports, confirmed that her claim was true.
