According to Saed News, a woman in a relationship with a partner 26 years her senior has revealed that people often assume her 71-year-old husband is her father, and that other older men frequently make inappropriate advances toward her.
Allison, 45, and Ben Hornsby, 71, have been together for 25 years and share a set of triplets and twins. Despite this, the couple often faces public and online harassment because of their relationship, with some labeling them as "disgusting."
Allison says that despite criticism and negativity, the couple enjoys posting videos on Instagram to show "the beauty of a strong marriage" to the world.
Ben and Allison first met in 1998, when Ben, a postal worker, delivered a package to Allison’s workplace.
At the time, Allison was just 19. After a year of receiving daily deliveries from Ben, then 46, she asked him out. Ben had also developed feelings for Allison, and the two quickly fell deeply in love.

Even after 25 years together, people still question their relationship or assume they are father and daughter.
Allison says, "We receive inappropriate messages, mostly from men."
Despite online trolls, Ben considers the challenge of raising five children together the hardest part of their life.
Four years into their relationship, the couple married. In 2003, when Ben was 52 and Allison 26, they welcomed their triplets—Benjamin, Noah, and Ethan.
Remarkably, three years later, Allison gave birth to twins, Mia and Jude. Ben, who had four children from a previous relationship, became the father of nine.
Once, at a school meeting, a teacher remarked to Ben, "You must be her grandfather."
Allison reflects, "We were both mature adults who entered this relationship of our own choice, so the age gap wasn’t an issue. We knew others might not accept it, but it felt natural to us. We didn’t want to be apart."
She advises, "If you truly love each other, don’t let outside noise stop you from embracing the relationship you have."
