Saed News: The X platform has imposed new restrictions to force users to purchase a blue checkmark.
According to SAEDNEWS, citing Engadget, content seen on X and the Reddit social network shows that users reported the platform had quietly limited the number of posts that people without a blue checkmark can publish. However, the X “Help Center” page under the restrictions section now states that the number of original posts for unverified users has been reduced to 50 per day and 200 replies.
In comparison with archived versions of the Help Center page, the new limit is significantly lower than the previous 2,400 posts per day. Interestingly, the updated page still refers to the old rule. In any case, X notifies users through error messages when they reach the new limits.
This new measure is part of X’s campaign to reduce spam and bot activity on the platform.
