SAEDNEWS: Users can use this feature to record and upload slow-motion videos in Stories.
According to Saed News and Zoomit:
Instagram has gradually introduced a wide range of new features in recent years, turning the platform into an attractive and practical space for individuals and businesses interested in sharing photos. Now, good news for Instagram users eager for new tools is that the app is set to introduce several notable features in the near future.
It appears that Instagram is currently testing a number of new capabilities. One of these is “quick reactions,” which allows users to respond to stories instantly using emojis, similar to Facebook’s reaction system. Another upcoming feature is slow-motion video recording for stories, enabling users to capture and upload slow-motion clips directly within the app.
In addition, a new mute button is being added to user profiles. This feature allows users to stop seeing posts from specific accounts in their feed without unfollowing them, helping avoid potential misunderstandings or discomfort that may come from unfollowing someone. This functionality is similar to Twitter’s mute option.

Finally, Instagram is working on a calendar-based view for archived stories. This feature would allow users to browse their archived stories based on the dates they were posted, making it easier to revisit past content chronologically.
According to some reports, certain users are already testing these features. However, Instagram has not officially confirmed them yet. Even if the platform is experimenting with these tools, there is no guarantee that all of them will eventually be released to the public. More updates are expected in future announcements.
