SAEDNEWS: Iranian Armed Forces Chief of Staff Says Tehran Will Determine the Timing and Manner of Its Response Independently of Any Enemy Attack
According to Saednews, Major General Ali Abdollahi has warned that Iran’s Armed Forces are closely monitoring enemy movements and military preparations using their full intelligence capabilities, while continuously updating their list of potential targets.
In a message published on his X account, Abdollahi stressed that once signs of hostile action are identified, Iran’s military would not wait for an attack to take place before deciding when and how to respond.
"Our response will be immediate, impactful, and without geographical restrictions," he warned.
In a separate message addressed to the Iranian people, Abdollahi welcomed the firm directives issued by Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei to senior military commanders, describing them as "wise, prudent, and decisive." He said the instructions would serve as a guiding framework for commanders and all members of the Armed Forces, as had the Leader’s previous directives during the Third Imposed War.
Abdollahi assured the Leader and the Iranian nation that the Armed Forces would firmly resist any act of aggression, regardless of its scale or nature, and defend the country even at the cost of their lives.
He added that Iran’s Armed Forces, acting under the Commander-in-Chief’s instructions, are fully prepared to protect the country and its people and confront American and Israeli adversaries with strength and determination, without geographical limitations. He also emphasized the military's readiness to deploy advanced weaponry and modern technologies while continuously strengthening its capabilities.
The senior commander further warned that any renewed aggression against Iran would trigger a different military approach and a response more severe and effective than the one delivered during the Third Imposed War.
He stressed that Iran would determine the outcome of any conflict by eliminating its adversaries' ability to continue waging war.
Abdollahi also announced that the Armed Forces are preparing a new database of enemy military targets and strategic assets covering a much broader geographical area than before. He said Iran's adversaries would face unexpected developments and new surprises on the battlefield.
The statements followed a meeting between Ayatollah Hosseini Khamenei and senior Armed Forces commanders, during which the Leader emphasized the importance of maintaining intelligent and comprehensive military readiness to ensure effective deterrence against adversaries.
He instructed the military to respond immediately and effectively to any threat, without geographical restrictions, and ordered a comprehensive revision of its target database to ensure that all physical and non-physical assets belonging to the US-Israeli adversary fall within the Armed Forces' operational reach.
The Leader also called for strengthening military intelligence capabilities, advancing domestically developed defense technologies and doctrines, and further reinforcing the operational and security capabilities of Iran's Armed Forces.
