US Spending on Iran War Exceeds $47 Billion, Pentagon Data Reveals

According to Saewdnews, The US military has spent more than $47 billion on the war against Iran, over 25% higher than the Pentagon’s estimate in July, according to data obtained by Reuters.

The latest estimate includes more than $29 billion to replace munitions used during the conflict and over $6 billion to replace military equipment, including aircraft and drones lost during the war.

The figures represent a substantial increase from Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth’s July estimate of $37.5 billion.

Reuters reported that the latest estimate does not clearly account for the cost of repairing damage to US military bases caused by Iranian missile and drone attacks.
