SAEDNEWS: Iran Backs Lebanon’s Right to Defend Its Sovereignty and Security Against Israeli Attacks
According to Saednews, Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi met with Lebanese Foreign Minister Youssef Rajji on Saturday evening on the sidelines of the 52nd session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Baghdad.
During the meeting, the two ministers exchanged views on bilateral relations between Tehran and Beirut and explored ways to further strengthen cooperation.
Araghchi reiterated Iran’s firm commitment to preserving Lebanon’s territorial integrity and sovereignty, emphasizing Tehran’s support for Lebanon’s efforts to defend its national sovereignty and security against the aggression and expansionist policies of the Zionist regime.
