SAEDNEWS: Iranian Army Says US and Israel Suffered Major Defeat in Latest Attack on Iran
According to Saednews, Speaking at a local event in Mashhad on Friday, Brigadier General Mohammad Akraminia said the enemy entered the conflict after making several serious miscalculations about Iran and its capabilities, Press TV reported.
Akraminia said Israeli “inducement and threats” influenced US President Donald Trump and claimed Washington had pursued several objectives through its military action against Iran.
According to the commander, the attack was intended to damage Iran’s missile and nuclear programs, overthrow the government and ultimately divide the country. He said none of these objectives had been achieved.
He identified the enemy’s failure to understand the Iranian people and its inability to accurately assess the military capabilities of the Islamic Republic as two of its most significant mistakes.
Akraminia also pointed to what he described as an incorrect assessment of Iran’s political system, as well as a failure to anticipate Tehran’s ability to exercise control over the Strait of Hormuz.
Another major miscalculation, he said, was the failure of NATO and other US Western allies to enter the conflict alongside Washington.
“The enemy is weak in the war of wills,” Akraminia said, contrasting the opposing side’s resolve with what he described as the determination of the Iranian people.
He attributed Iran’s ability to withstand the conflict to religious beliefs, strong national resolve and experience gained through previous wars. According to him, these factors have reinforced Iran’s capacity to resist external aggression.
