SAEDNEWS: Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf says Tehran has consistently supported China’s call for establishing a system of collective security in the region.
According to Saednews, Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf said China’s focus on promoting common security aligns with a principle Iran has advocated for many years.
In a post on X on Friday, Ghalibaf stressed that countries in the region should take greater responsibility for shaping their own future. He said lasting stability could only be achieved through a new, regionally developed security framework.
“Iran is ready to contribute,” he added.
Tehran has consistently urged regional nations to reduce their dependence on powers outside the region and establish security mechanisms based on cooperation and mutual responsibility.
