SAEDNEWS: Oman’s Foreign Minister to Visit Tehran for Talks on Bilateral Cooperation and Regional Peace
According to Saednews, Omani Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr al-Busaidi will travel to Tehran on Tuesday for talks with his Iranian counterpart on bilateral and regional matters, Iran’s Foreign Ministry announced.
Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei said al-Busaidi is scheduled to meet Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi during the visit. Their discussions will focus on issues concerning both countries as well as wider regional developments.
According to Baghaei, the visit aims to strengthen cooperation between Iran and Oman and continue political consultations between the two neighboring coastal states, particularly regarding the Strait of Hormuz and efforts to promote regional peace and security.
