SAEDNEWS: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi and Pakistani Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar held discussions on bilateral relations and recent developments in the region.
According to Saednews, During a telephone conversation on Monday, the foreign ministers of Iran and Pakistan exchanged views on bilateral relations and the latest developments in the region.
Araqchi briefed his Pakistani counterpart on the latest progress in Iran’s bilateral discussions with Oman concerning the establishment of a suitable route to ensure the safe passage of vessels through the Strait of Hormuz.
He reaffirmed the Islamic Republic of Iran’s commitment to pursuing the process.
Meanwhile, Ishaq Dar presented Pakistan’s position on the trilateral defense agreement involving Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey.
