SAEDNEWS: Iran’s Intelligence Ministry has praised the efforts of journalists across the country during the US-Israeli war of aggression, particularly their coverage of Iran’s dignified resistance against the aggressors.
According to Saednews, Iran’s Intelligence Ministry has praised media workers and journalists for their role in informing the public during the aggression that began in late February.
In a statement issued on Saturday to mark Journalists’ Day in Iran, the ministry described Iranian journalists as “ambassadors and guardians of awareness,” saying they had contributed significantly to keeping the public informed during the conflict.
The ministry said Iranian media had helped expose what it described as attempts by the enemy to present itself as Iran’s savior during the aggression.
It also praised journalists for promoting hope, informing the public, and helping maintain psychological stability among the population.
“May your honest voice remain loud and resounding in instilling hope, enlightening the public, preserving and stabilizing the psychological security of the people,” the statement said, while accusing Iran’s adversaries of attempting to reverse the roles of aggressor and victim.
The Intelligence Ministry said it recognized the extensive efforts made by Iranian media organizations, particularly the country’s national radio and television broadcaster, to increase public awareness during what it called the US-Israeli aggression.
According to the ministry, these efforts contributed to what it characterized as the failure of a continuous media campaign conducted by Iran’s adversaries. The ministry alleged that the campaign was intended to undermine public confidence in the country and its governing institutions.
The statement further said Iranian journalists had played an important role in presenting facts, clarifying developments, and raising public awareness despite what the ministry described as a coordinated and hostile media campaign.
It praised their ability to respond with timely reporting and awareness during what it called a difficult and decisive information battle.
