SAEDNEWS: The President of the United States announced, before news of the agreement with Iran became public, that he would soon issue a statement confirming the United States' approval of the agreement (memorandum of understanding) with Iran.
According to Saed News Political Desk, U.S. President Donald Trump said in an interview with The Wall Street Journal that he will soon issue a statement confirming a new understanding (memorandum of understanding) with Iran.
He added that the agreement will be signed electronically, either by himself or by Vice President J.D. Vance.
Trump claimed that the understanding would include Iran's commitment not to acquire nuclear weapons and the immediate reopening of the Strait of Hormuz.
At the same time, he noted that Iran has not yet confirmed its acceptance of the agreement. “I want to end the attacks, and the Iranians also want to end the war,” he said.
Trump further claimed that he has never been interested in regime change in Iran and that the parties are currently dealing with what he described as the “third group,” which he called the most reasonable.
He also asserted that the United States would receive nuclear materials when preparations are complete, adding that this could happen within one or two months.
Trump, whose military campaign against Iran has been described by some analysts and experts as unsuccessful, also stated that the naval blockade imposed on Iran has been more effective and powerful than military strikes.
