SAEDNEWS: The U.S. President, who has previously failed in confrontations with Iran and has repeatedly been forced to back down from his positions and artificial deadlines regarding the country, stated that negotiations to reach an agreement with Iran are currently underway.

Donald Trump: “War with Iran will end soon, uranium deal comes with conditions”

According to Saed News politics service, Donald Trump, referring to efforts to reach an agreement with Iran, stated that the conflict with Tehran would soon come to an end and claimed that after the war ends, gas prices would significantly decrease.

Ismail Baghaei, spokesperson for Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, previously said that message exchanges between Tehran and Washington are continuing through Pakistani mediators, adding that Iran is prepared for all possible scenarios.

According to ISNA, he noted that communication between Iran and the United States has continued via Pakistan’s mediation, saying that based on Iran’s initial 14-point draft, messages have been exchanged in several rounds. Iran has received the U.S. positions and is currently reviewing them.

Despite Iran’s repeated emphasis that nuclear weapons have no place in its defense doctrine, Trump insisted that his administration must ensure Tehran does not acquire such weapons.

The U.S. president also claimed he intends to remove highly enriched uranium from Iran and potentially destroy it.

Meanwhile, while Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced that 31 vessels had passed through the Strait of Hormuz over the past 24 hours in coordination with its naval forces, Trump falsely claimed that the United States controls the strait.

Following escalating tensions in the region and repeated illegal attacks attributed to the U.S. and Israel against Iran’s sovereignty since late 2025, Iranian officials stated that all vessel traffic through this strategic international waterway—located near Iran’s territorial waters and coastline—must be coordinated with Iran. They also warned that ships linked to the U.S., Israel, and their allies would not be permitted to pass.
