SAEDNEWS: The news network CNN, acknowledging the rapid reconstruction of Iran’s military capabilities, examined the failure of the narrative promoted by the United States and the Israeli regime, reporting that Iran’s strength has been restored far more quickly than anticipated.
According to the political desk of Saed News, citing ISNA, the American network CNN reported — based on statements from four informed sources — that the Islamic Republic of Iran has managed to restore and strengthen a significant portion of its defensive and deterrent capabilities at a pace far beyond initial Western estimates. The report once again raises questions about Washington and Israeli claims that Iran’s military capabilities had suffered “crippling blows.”
According to the report, U.S. intelligence assessments indicate that Iran has accelerated the development and production of its defense equipment and drone systems in recent weeks, successfully restoring key operational capacities. This suggests that the country’s strategic infrastructure and indigenous capabilities remain active and resilient despite Western media narratives.
Sources cited by CNN acknowledged that Tehran acted much faster than Western intelligence agencies had predicted, particularly in areas such as missile systems, launch platforms, and the production of strategic military equipment.
One source, identified as a U.S. official, told CNN: “Although the timeline for restarting production varies for different weapons components, some U.S. intelligence estimates suggest Iran could fully restore its drone strike capability within six months.”
Another American official admitted that the Iranians had “surpassed all projected timelines,” an acknowledgment reflecting Iran’s industrial, technical, and managerial capabilities under sanctions and pressure.
The report further states that Iran’s missile and drone arsenal continues to represent a major component of its regional deterrence power, with core capabilities remaining intact. CNN noted: “This means the rapid reconstruction of military production capacity is not starting from zero.”
Two additional sources previously told CNN that intelligence assessments indicate thousands of Iranian drones still remain operational, representing nearly 50 percent of the country’s drone capability.
A considerable portion of Iran’s naval power and coastal defense missile systems also remains operational, maintaining influence over the security of the Strait of Hormuz and broader regional strategic calculations.
CNN also cited claims from certain American sources regarding alleged Chinese assistance to Iran, though Chinese officials firmly rejected the allegations, calling them “baseless.” Iranian authorities have consistently emphasized that the country’s defense capabilities rely on domestic expertise, internal capacity, and indigenous technology.
The report suggests that the psychological campaign by the United States and Israel regarding the long-term weakening of Iran’s defense capabilities does not fully align with field realities or even Western intelligence assessments, and that Iran continues to be regarded as one of the region’s key powers.
