Iran Welcomes Bin Zayed’s Distancing from Israel

The article adds that the reason for the UAE’s sensitivity to this news is the widespread anger and hostility of Arab public opinion toward Israel and Netanyahu personally. It states that the use of some Gulf states’ territories for attacks against Iran has increased public pressure on these governments. It also claims that within the UAE, some emirates have expressed objections to Mohammed bin Zayed’s close relations with Israel.

Israel, by circulating news of this visit, is trying to deepen the UAE’s dependence on it. If the UAE moves away from reliance on the United States and Israel, there is a possibility of improved relations with Iran.
