Crisis In The Skies Over The Gulf Of Oman; The Second US F-35 Has Been Grounded Within The Past 24 Hours!

According to SAEDNEWS, this morning once again alarm bells rang for the US Air Force fleet in the region. An advanced F-35 fighter, which was conducting a mission over the waters of the Sea of Oman, transmitted emergency code 7700 (General Emergency), indicating a technical malfunction or critical situation in the aircraft to air traffic control centers.

According to radar data, the aircraft immediately after declaring the emergency changed its flight path and, while reducing altitude, turned toward the territory of the United Arab Emirates.

This incident comes only 24 hours after a similar incident involving another fighter of the same model. The repetition of this emergency situation and the final landing at Al Dhafra Air Base — one of the United States’ strategic bases in the region — has increased speculation about possible technical issues in the operational systems of these fifth-generation fighter jets.

US military officials have not yet released precise details regarding the reason for the emergency code transmission or the status of the fighter’s systems.
