SAEDNEWS: Marine commandos of the Islamic Republic of Iran Navy carried out a special operation to seize the non-compliant oil tanker Ocean Koi (OCEAN KOI), which had been attempting to disrupt Iran’s oil exports and national interests. The vessel was successfully detained and brought back to the country.
According to the political desk of Saed News Agency, in implementation of a resolution by the Supreme National Security Council and under a judicial order, the Navy of the Islamic Republic of Iran carried out a special operation in the Gulf of Oman. During the operation, it seized the violating oil tanker OCEAN KOI, which was carrying a cargo of Iranian oil and had allegedly attempted—by exploiting regional conditions—to disrupt oil exports and harm the interests of the Iranian people.
In the course of the operation, naval commandos and marines escorted the tanker to the country’s southern shores and handed it over to judicial authorities.
The Navy of the Islamic Republic of Iran stated that it firmly defends the nation’s interests and assets in its territorial waters and will show no leniency toward any violators or aggressors.
