SAEDNEWS: US–Iran Talks in ‘Deadlock’ as US Ceasefire Violations Continue: Reuters
According to the political service of SaedNews, an English-language news agency has explained that the deadlock in negotiations between the United States and Iran stems from both sides showing “little willingness to adjust their conditions (demands).”
According to Fars News Agency, the report comes despite Iran’s goodwill regarding the ceasefire and talks mediated by Pakistan. However, the United States continues to insist on actions seen as violating the ceasefire, including naval blockades and the seizure of vessels linked to Iran.
Iran’s Foreign Minister, Seyed Abbas Araghchi, met on Saturday, April 24, in Islamabad with Pakistan’s Army Chief Field Marshal Asim Munir. The two officials discussed the latest developments related to the ceasefire, the end of the U.S. and Israeli-imposed war against Iran, and cooperation to strengthen peace and stability in West Asia.
