SAEDNEWS: Internal Division Created by Constant Opposition in the Country Facilitates Enemy Aggression

The Gap Trump Used to Attack Iran!

ccording to the political service of Saed News Agency, Mohammad Hashemi, a moderate political activist and former head of the national broadcasting organization, said in an interview with Etemad newspaper that the emergence of a single, unified voice during various crises—such as war or ceasefire—is the most important necessity that helps countries achieve their interests. However, in Iran there has always been a minority that, at such critical moments, plays a discordant tune.

He added that it is regrettable that the positions of these hardline groups sometimes align with the voices of opponents abroad and opposition groups. Nevertheless, the extreme approaches of some domestic individuals and groups do not represent the true voice of the Iranian nation and government. What is influential on the global stage is the shared message of the heads of government branches, military and civilian officials, and the people who every night gather in streets and main squares of cities to defend the country’s territorial integrity and Iran’s national interests.

He emphasized that extremist remarks and opposition to government and state decisions send signals abroad that there is internal discord within the country. Enemies, he said, seek to exploit their interests within these divisions.

He also noted that a recent tweet by Donald Trump regarding divisions among Iranian officials was based on such extremist internal actions.

Hashemi further stated that today, the national broadcasting organization (IRIB) must transform into an institution that pursues national interests and public welfare. It should not represent a specific faction or minority group, but rather belong to all Iranians with different perspectives and beliefs. He stressed that IRIB must operate in line with the decisions of the Supreme National Security Council and the directives of the Leader and the President. Focusing on personal or factional approaches, he warned, brings no benefit other than harming national interests and encouraging enemies to believe in internal divisions.
