American Analyst’s Blunt Advice: Don’t Be Fooled By the United States

According to a political report from the Saed News Agency, prominent American economist and political analyst Jeffrey Sachs warned early Wednesday that the Islamic Republic of Iran should be cautious of what he described as U.S. deception and duplicity.

Citing Fars News Agency, Sachs stated in an interview with the online program “Judging Freedom” that Washington’s arrogance and brazenness know no limits, and that any agreement with the United States must be approached with extreme caution.

He explained in this regard: “Perhaps Iranians are not as familiar with the hypocrisy and treaty-breaking behavior of the United States as Russians, who have dealt with America since 1945. They may not fully realize that the U.S. follows the principle of ‘our way or no way, and if you don’t like it, we will kill you.’”

The political thinker added: “The United States cannot maintain any agreement for more than a minute because it simply sees no need to do so. Unfortunately, this is the current state of U.S. foreign policy.”
