SAEDNEWS: US President Claims Iran Will Face Problems If It Refuses Negotiations
According to Saednews political service, citing Khabar Online, U.S. President Donald Trump, after facing a firm stance from the Islamic Republic of Iran in defending its interests and people against his pressure, once again resorted to threats in an attempt to bring Tehran to the negotiating table.
Trump claimed in an early Tuesday morning interview with the radio program of John Fredericks that if Iran does not come to the negotiating table, it will face serious problems.
Explaining his claim, he said: “They (Iran) will negotiate. If they do not, they will face problems like they have never seen before.”
The Russian news agency TASS, quoting Trump, reported: “I hope they reach a fair agreement and rebuild their country, but when they do, they will not have nuclear weapons. We cannot allow that to happen.”
Meanwhile, earlier in the day, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, stated: “Trump wants to turn the negotiating table into a table of surrender through siege and ceasefire violations. We do not accept negotiations under the shadow of threats. We are prepared to reveal new cards on the battlefield.”
