SAEDNEWS: The Iranian Army has announced that it has carried out a new wave of drone strikes targeting US military facilities in the region as part of its retaliatory actions against the aggression of the American-Israeli enemy.
According to the latest statement issued by the Iranian Army, the attacks took place during the second phase of Saturday’s drone operations.
The statement said that powerful Arash‑2 combat drones targeted a missile and drone detection radar system belonging to the US military, as well as facilities connected to the US mechanized, armored, and helicopter battalion command in Kuwait.
Another target mentioned was associated with aluminum industries in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), which are linked to US military supply chains.
The Iranian Army noted that several Arab media outlets reported hearing explosions in Kuwait and the UAE around the time of the attacks.
The statement highlighted that the United States has made substantial investments in the UAE’s aluminum sector, which is used in the production of fighter jets, including the F‑35, as well as missiles, tanks, and armored vehicles.
Iranian military officials described the operations as retaliation for the deaths of Iranian personnel targeted in recent US and Israeli attacks on Iran’s industrial centers.
The statement added that Iranian forces remain committed to defending the nation and warned that the series of operations, combined with the resolve of the Iranian people, will make the enemy recognize its miscalculation in attacking the country.
Analysts noted that the joint US-Israeli campaign, which began on February 28, 2026, following the death of Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, ignored ongoing indirect negotiations.
In response, Iran launched precise retaliatory strikes against Israeli positions and US bases, citing its inherent right to self-defense under Article 51 of the UN Charter, and warned that further escalation would provoke a stronger reaction.
