Iran Reaffirms Resolve to Defend Its Sovereignty

According to SAEDNEWS, In a telephone conversation on Saturday night, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi and his Pakistani counterpart Muhammad Ishaq Dar discussed the latest regional developments and bilateral relations.

Ishaq Dar outlined Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts aimed at halting US-Israeli military aggression against Iran and restoring peace and stability in the region. He emphasized the importance of ongoing consultations to achieve these goals.

Araqchi expressed appreciation for Pakistan’s diplomatic support and detailed the crimes committed by the United States and the Israeli regime over the past 35 days. According to him, these actions included attacks on Iran’s industrial and production infrastructure, safeguarded nuclear facilities, hospitals, schools, universities, and residential areas.

He stressed the urgent need for a decisive international response to these unprecedented violations of international law.

The Iranian official also highlighted that the US and the Israeli regime, as initiators of the imposed war, bear responsibility for the current insecurity in the region and its global repercussions.

Araqchi reiterated that Iran remains firmly determined to defend its national sovereignty and territorial integrity, employing all available capabilities.

The US and Israeli regime launched a large-scale, unprovoked military campaign against Iran following the February 28 assassination of the then Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, along with several senior military commanders and civilians.

These attacks have included extensive aerial strikes on both military and civilian sites across Iran, causing significant casualties and widespread infrastructure damage.

In response, the Iranian Armed Forces have carried out retaliatory operations, targeting American and Israeli positions in the occupied territories and at regional bases using waves of missiles and drones.
