Instructions

  1. Prepare the Cream Base
In a saucepan, combine milk, flour, cornstarch, and sugar. Heat gently while stirring until the mixture warms up. Add 3 tablespoons of instant coffee and continue stirring to remove the raw taste of flour and cornstarch, but do not let it burn. Once it thickens, remove from heat.

  2. Prepare the Gelatin
Mix the gelatin powder with 5 tablespoons of cold water and let it bloom until spongy. Heat a kettle until boiling, then place the gelatin bowl over it to melt (bain-marie method) or microwave for 1 minute until fully dissolved.

  3. Whip the Cream
Let the whipping cream reach room temperature until slightly chilled. Beat it with an electric mixer until it forms soft peaks and becomes smooth. Add cream cheese and continue mixing until fully combined. Stir in the prepared milk mixture with gelatin until uniform.

  4. Assemble the Tiramisu
Pour 2 cups of hot milk or water into a bowl, add the remaining instant coffee, and mix. Dip each ladyfinger biscuit briefly into this mixture and arrange them tightly at the bottom of your serving dish. Spread a layer of the creamy mixture on top, then add another layer of dipped ladyfingers, followed by more cream. Finish with a dusting of cocoa powder on top.

  5. Chill and Serve
Refrigerate the tiramisu for 8 hours before serving to allow it to set. Enjoy!

Key Tips

  • You can use breakfast cream instead of whipping cream.

  • Either espresso or instant coffee works well.
