SAEDNEWS: Russia’s Grand Mufti, Ravil Eyn al-Din, has extended his condolences on the martyrdom of Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.
In a message to Iran’s Ambassador to Russia Kazem Jalali, Eyn al-Din wrote: “With tearful eyes, we understand and witness all that we see in the ancient history, culture, and civilization of your country.”
“We have been deeply moved and shaken by the news of the martyrdom of His Excellency, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, and his companions,” he added.
On Sunday, Russian President Vladimir Putin also expressed his deepest condolences over the US-Israeli assassination of Iran’s Leader, calling it the violation of all norms of human ethics and international laws.
Putin added that Ayatollah Khamenei would always be remembered in Russia as a prominent statesman who played a significant role in developing friendly relations between Moscow and Tehran and elevating the existing relations to the level of comprehensive strategic partnership.
The United States and the Israeli regime launched unprovoked assaults on Iran on Saturday morning, assassinating top military commanders and Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.
