SAEDNEWS: The senior U.S. negotiator traveled to the Arabian Sea to visit the nuclear-powered aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln one day after holding talks with the Iranian delegation in Muscat.
According to the political desk of the Saed News website, Steve Witkoff, the representative of Donald Trump for Middle East affairs, who held talks yesterday with Seyed Abbas Araghchi in the Omani capital on Iran’s nuclear issues, traveled today to the Arabian Sea.
During this maritime visit, the senior American negotiator—accompanied by Jared Kushner, Trump’s son-in-law, and Brad Cooper, the commander of U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM)—met with U.S. forces aboard the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln and observed live operations of the carrier’s fighter jets.
According to a report published by Fars News Agency, Witkoff claimed: “During my visit to the USS Abraham Lincoln, I spoke with the pilot who had shot down an Iranian drone.”
He added: “Our forces are combat-ready, and we believe in peace through strength.”
