SAEDNEWS: Ali Shamkhani stated that “we do not consider the U.S. and Israel separate; if the U.S. attacks, we will respond by attacking Israel as well.”

Iran’s Conditions for Negotiation Are Clear — Would Crazy Trump Accept Them?

According to Saed News’ political service, Ali Shamkhani, the Supreme Leader’s representative on the Supreme National Defense Council, stated that there is no reason to transfer Iran’s stored nuclear materials abroad and that returning to 20% uranium enrichment is possible. He added, “There is no need for all the complex procedures. We have not produced these materials for military purposes and have no intention to do so.”

Reporting via Tasnim quoting Al-Mayadeen, Shamkhani emphasized: “Our nuclear program is peaceful. Our capabilities are domestic. The 60% enrichment rate can be reduced to 20%, but the cost must be borne by others.”

Shamkhani also noted that the U.S. presence in the region is primarily to defend Israel.

Responding to another question, he said: “In the forty-seven years since the Islamic Revolution, we have never initiated any war, and we have no desire to change this record.”

Highlighting U.S. regional dominance, Shamkhani remarked: “The era of domination in the region must end.” He added: “The reason for attacks against us is our position in the resistance. We will undoubtedly continue supporting resistance movements.”

He stressed that Iran does not consider Israel and the U.S. as separate elements: “If the U.S. attacks, we will regard Israel as a partner and respond appropriately. Our response to Israel will be decisive; we will certainly retaliate against any aggression.”

Shamkhani also noted that many countries have declared they will never allow their soil to be used for any attacks against Iran.

Regarding negotiations, he said: “If talks begin under two basic conditions—avoidance of threats and unreasonable demands—then a meeting is possible.” He added: “One of our conditions is that negotiations focus exclusively on the nuclear issue. Even the other party (the U.S.) has stated that the core topic of the talks is nuclear.”
