SAEDNEWS: Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baqaei has strongly denounced the assassination of Ali Noureddine, a television presenter for Al-Manar TV.
According to SAEDNEWS, Baqaei sympathized with Noureddine’s family and Lebanon’s media community, describing the assassination as “a heinous and terrorist crime and a gross violation of the fundamental rules of international law prohibiting any attack on members of the media”.
Referring to Israel’s continued violations of its late 2024 ceasefire agreement with Lebanon, Baqaei urged regional countries and the international community to shoulder their responsibility in countering the Israeli “lawlessness and warmongering”.
