According to SAEDNEWS: quoting Etemad Online, the Egyptian newspaper Akhbar Elyoum reported on this tribe, stating that this tribe, considered one of the strangest tribes in the world, lives in the country of Chad, and some of their customs are strange and even frightening.

In this tribe, it is customary for men to use cosmetics, wear their best clothes, and continuously style their hair—activities usually expected of women.

However, in the Wadaba tribe, men do all these things to attract a life partner.

The tribe holds an annual festival known as the "Wife Stealing Festival," during which men wear their finest clothes and perform a series of traditional dances to attract the attention of the opposite sex in the tribe.

To achieve this, men insert bird feathers into their hair, wear hats to appear taller, shave the front of their heads, braid the hair at the back, and often use various colorful beads in their hair.

According to the tribe's customs, during this festival, women can leave their current husbands and go to the men who have attracted their attention, which means that men in this tribe may have multiple wives.
