Statement of Ayatollah Sistani’s Strong Reproach Against Any Threat to the Supreme Leader of the Revolution

According to SAEDNEWS, citing Fars News Agency, the full text of the statement issued by the office of Grand Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Sistani following the military aggression against Iran and the threat to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution is as follows:

In the Name of God, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful

The Supreme Religious Authority in Najaf Ashraf once again strongly condemns the continued military aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran and any threats of assassination against the country’s highest religious and political leader. It firmly warns that any such criminal act—beyond being a blatant violation of religious and moral principles, and a clear breach of international norms and laws—will have extremely grave consequences for the entire region. Such actions could lead to a complete loss of control over the situation and the outbreak of widespread chaos, further worsening the suffering of the region's peoples and severely endangering the interests of all.

Therefore, we strongly call upon all influential international institutions and governments around the world—especially Islamic nations—to exert their utmost efforts to stop this unjust war and to seek a peaceful and just resolution to Iran's nuclear issue based on international law.
