SAEDNEWS: Four Palestinians Killed in Israeli Attacks Across Gaza, Fifth Dies From Earlier Injuries

Five Palestinians Killed in Gaza Amid Israeli Attacks

According to Saednews, At least five Palestinians were reported killed in Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip on Monday, including strikes in Khan Younis, central Gaza and Gaza City, according to medical sources.

In southern Khan Younis, at least two Palestinians were killed in separate Israeli strikes, while another person died in a drone attack targeting the al-Musaddar area in central Gaza.

In Gaza City, an Israeli airstrike targeting a vehicle in the Tal al-Hawa neighborhood killed Hani Hamed Kahil and injured five others, the Wafa news agency reported.

Meanwhile, Youssef Abu Younis died from injuries sustained in an Israeli attack on Sunday, bringing the reported death toll for Monday to five.

The Israeli military said it had targeted Palestinian fighters in three separate strikes but did not provide further details.

Elsewhere in Gaza City, Israeli forces continued targeting civilian infrastructure. Three Palestinians were injured when a minibus belonging to a community kitchen was hit in the Zeitoun neighborhood.

The latest attacks highlight the continued violence despite the US-backed ceasefire, which has not brought an end to Israeli military operations or ensured the safety of Palestinians.

According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, Israeli attacks have killed at least 1,593 Palestinians and injured 5,748 others since the ceasefire came into effect in October 2025.

The overall death toll from Israel's war on Gaza has reached at least 74,609 Palestinians, with another 175,872 injured, reflecting the immense human cost of the military campaign and the continued failure of international efforts to end the conflict.

Meanwhile, the humanitarian situation continues to deteriorate as winter approaches. Hundreds of thousands of displaced Palestinians are struggling to find adequate shelter following the widespread destruction of homes and civilian infrastructure.

Israeli Army Radio reported that Nickolay Mladenov, the high representative of the US-established Board of Peace, arrived in Israel on Monday to seek approval for the delivery of tents to Gaza and promote measures to speed up reconstruction efforts.

On October 9, the United Nations migration agency warned that nearly two million people in Gaza required shelter assistance, adding that half of the territory's tents and makeshift shelters needed to be replaced.

Despite Washington's stated efforts to advance a peace initiative, Palestinians continue to face Israeli attacks, forced displacement and increasingly severe living conditions. The US-backed arrangements have yet to provide meaningful protection or deliver substantial progress in reconstruction.
