SAEDNEWS: Iran Vows Immediate Response to Any Threat, Says Retaliation Could Extend Beyond Its Borders
According to Saednews, Fada Hossein Maleki, a member of the Iranian Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, has stated that Iran’s strategy for countering threats extends beyond geographical boundaries, warning that any threat against the country will trigger an immediate and decisive response.
Speaking to Mehr News Agency, Maleki referred to the Leader’s recent remarks during a meeting with senior military commanders, in which he stressed that threats of any nature or scale must be met with an immediate and effective response, regardless of geographical limitations. According to Maleki, the remarks demonstrate that the Islamic Republic has established a clear military doctrine for confronting potential threats and hostile actions.
He explained that during the 40-day war, Iran primarily targeted US military bases involved in the conflict through precision strikes against designated locations. However, he noted that the Leader’s latest emphasis on responding without geographical restrictions indicates a broader approach to addressing future threats.
Maleki suggested that the remarks also carry a message for regional countries, warning that if another conflict breaks out, Iran's response may differ significantly from its previous approach. He said future operations would not necessarily be restricted to the same locations or limited targets and could extend across a wider range of strategic dimensions.
He further argued that Washington's efforts to expand its military infrastructure and relocate bases and military installations beyond Iran's perceived operational reach are based on a mistaken assumption. Such measures, he stressed, would not prevent Iran from carrying out retaliatory operations.
Maleki added that in the event of another war, Iran would adopt a different strategic approach and introduce new operational scenarios capable of surprising both the United States and European countries.
Reiterating Tehran's position, he emphasized that Iran's response would not be confined to any particular geographical region, declaring that any threat originating from anywhere in the world would be met with a swift and decisive reaction.
