SAEDNEWS: Iran’s Canoeing Federation has announced that six of its representatives will serve in the officials and referees’ section for the canoe sprint and slalom competitions at the 20th Asian Games, Aichi–Nagoya 2026.
According to Saednews, Iran will be represented by six refereeing officials in canoe sprint and canoe slalom at the 20th Asian Games Aichi–Nagoya 2026.
Alireza Sohrabian, Seyyed Morteza Tavakoli, Katayoun Ashraf, Atefeh Barzegar, Sasan Shojaei, and Azam Rahimizadeh will serve as Iran’s refereeing representatives during the competitions.
Iranian referees have previously participated in officiating at various editions of the Asian Games.
The 20th Asian Games Aichi–Nagoya 2026 are scheduled to take place from 19 to 27 September at venues across Aichi Prefecture in central Japan.
