Kehorul Anam held a wedding ceremony in a marriage registry office while wearing a groom’s suit, officially “marrying” the rice cooker.
Images shared on Twitter show parts of this unusual wedding. In one picture, the young groom is seen holding the rice cooker in his hands. Another image shows him signing official documents related to the ceremony. Anam posted the images on his Twitter account, writing: “White, calm, and perfect. It never talks (never complains), it’s excellent at cooking. A dream has come true. Without you, my rice cannot be cooked.”
The post and images surprised many Twitter users. While some reacted with humor, others criticized the groom. One user commented: “A wife for four days.”
It is worth noting that this is not the first time such unusual stories have gone viral. Last year, a similar case involved a 24-year-old Russian woman “marrying” her handbag.
