SaedNews: A young film actress appears in the role of Audrey Hepburn, the legendary film actress, in a movie currently in production about her life.
According to SAEDNEWS, the first images of the film “Dinner with Audrey” have been released; a new project from Wayfarer Studios, which is currently being filmed in Budapest, Hungary.
In this film, Thomasin McKenzie plays Audrey Hepburn and Ansel Elgort plays Hubert de Givenchy, the famous fashion designer. Miranda Richardson (two-time Oscar nominee) and Judy Greer have also joined the cast of the project.
Richardson plays Ella van Heemstra, Hepburn’s mother, and Greer appears as the legendary costume designer Edith Head. Michael Shannon is also among the well-known actors in the film.

The story takes place in 1953 in Paris. Audrey Hepburn, 24, is on the verge of becoming a global film star, but she struggles with personal doubts and concerns. She is assigned by director Billy Wilder to find authentic and inspiring costumes for the film Sabrina, and therefore goes to the fashion house of a tired but talented young designer named Givenchy.
Despite Givenchy’s initial resistance, Audrey’s persistence and charisma lead to an artistic connection between them. This relationship reaches a turning point during a dramatic night in which both take major professional risks to support each other, marking the beginning of a legendary 40-year collaboration between cinema and fashion.
The filmmakers describe the project as a tribute to one of the most important collaborations in the history of cinema and fashion. According to them, the goal of the film is to respectfully and accurately recreate the creative relationship between Audrey Hepburn and Givenchy, with all production stages handled with great sensitivity and precision.
During production, fashion photographer Sophie Elgort was used to capture the visual atmosphere and mood of the formation of this relationship—images that aim to recreate the elegance and beauty of the 1950s alongside the young Audrey Hepburn.
