Saed News: Forty years ago, presenting an Economic Mobilization Booklet (Basij-e Eghtesadi booklet) became mandatory for registering for driving tests.
According to SAEDNEWS, citing the newspaper Ettela’at, the Traffic Police of the National Gendarmerie issued a notice announcing new requirements for obtaining a driver’s license in 1983 (1362 in the Iranian calendar). In this notice, applicants were required to present an Economic Mobilization Booklet to verify their place of residence and living conditions. This announcement was published in the Ettela’at newspaper on January 10, 1984 (20 Dey 1362).
