Saed News: Historian Khosro Mo’tazed has made controversial remarks regarding Farah Pahlavi’s statements about returning to Iran.
According to SAEDNEWS, citing Rokna, Farah Diba’s recent expression of readiness to return to Iran and assume a “vice-royalty” position has become a subject of political satire in many circles.
Mo’tazed criticized her past and public statements, questioning her political understanding and portraying her ambitions as unrealistic. He argued that she only gained a stable position in the royal court after giving birth, and otherwise remained on the margins for a long time.
He further referred to memoirs and historical accounts, claiming that Mohammad Reza Shah sometimes treated her harshly in private and public settings, and cited passages from court memoirs suggesting tensions within the royal family.

The historian also discussed Farah Pahlavi’s background, education, and early life, claiming she came from a modest family background and later rose to prominence after entering the royal court. He referenced various historical memoirs and accounts to support his narrative.
Additionally, he criticized cultural and political activities during the Pahlavi era, including controversial events such as the Shiraz Arts Festival, which he described as provocative and inappropriate according to some historical reports.
Mo’tazed concluded with broader political remarks, warning about separatism and external political influences, and emphasizing concerns about national unity and territorial integrity.
