SAEDNEWS: The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman has strongly condemned the continued aggression of the criminal Zionist regime against the residential and civilian areas in Lebanon.
According to SAEDNEWS, Esmaeil Baghaei denounced the criminal Israeli regime’s aggression against Lebanon, including the brutal attack of the regime on the residential and civilian areas in Lebanon, especially in southern part of the country, and areas in Bekaa and Dahieh which led to the martyrdom of more than 8,000 innocent people and injury of thousands of others as well as displacement of thousands of Lebanese people.
Bombardment of the residential areas, massacre of the innocent people and medical staff, relief and rescue workers and also destruction of the vital infrastructures is a gross violation of the fundamental principles of the international law and is a clear example of the war crime against humanity, he said, calling on the international community not to remain indifferent towards these crimes committed by the child-killing Israeli regime.
The continued inaction of the international responsible bodies towards the constant violation of ceasefire and the crimes committed by the Israeli regime have emboldened the occupying regime of Israel to intensify its crimes and aggressions, Baghaei underlined.
Expressing his condolences to the families of the martyrs, the spokesman wished a speedy recovery for the injured and reaffirmed Iran’s full support for Lebanon to confront the occupation and aggression of the Israeli regime.
