The baby, born with a horn-like structure on its lower torso, arrived at the Manpura Primary Health Center in Shivpuri district, central India. Doctors at the health center immediately referred both the newborn and the mother to the Shivpuri district hospital.
Despite the unusual condition, the child’s condition remains stable. Since birth, the baby has been under the care of specialized doctors in the hospital’s Special Newborn Care Unit (SNCU).
The infant was born on August 26. It remains unclear whether the baby’s rare medical condition will result in serious complications.
