Mishan Plain is an area covering 1 hectare, located on the way to the Alvand mountains. First, we pass through a road alongside Abbas Abad Valley and then enter the route leading to Mishan Plain, where we must prepare for a moderate hike. Along the way, we may encounter nomads living their daily lives and orchards with tall and beautiful trees. The path to Mishan Plain has two resting points for hikers ascending the Alvand Mountain peaks. Additionally, you can use the Ganjnameh cable car to reach Mishan Plain; the second station of the Ganjnameh cable car is located in the Mishan area. The best time to visit Mishan Plain is from early April to late November.
Ganjnameh Waterfall is located 5 kilometers west of Hamedan. It is one of the few waterfalls with a permanent water flow, active throughout the year. This waterfall, which originates from the Alvand Mountains, has a height of 12 meters and a width of 2 to 4 meters. During the Achaemenid era, the waterfall was considered sacred, and the Achaemenids regarded its water as pure and respectful.
