Saed News: The results of the 2026 lottery were released today, May 3, 2025.
According to Saed News, every year, many individuals participate in the lottery program for a chance to live in the United States. The announcement of the 2026 lottery results will be made through the official website of the program at dvprogram.state.gov. However, the results are typically released in May (Ordibehesht) of the following year, and the related files are closed by September (Shahrivar) of the same year.
According to the official announcement by the organizers, the results of the 2026 lottery will be announced on May 3, 2025 (13 Ordibehesht 1404).
Please note that the responsibility for checking the results lies with the applicants themselves. Although your contact information and email are collected during registration, the lottery result will not be sent to any applicant. To view the result, you will need the 16-digit confirmation code you received during registration. You must also enter your personal details exactly as they appear in your passport.
At the time of the announcement, by entering your first name, last name, birthdate, and tracking code on the official site, you can check the results of your lottery application.
After entering the required information, one of the following three messages will appear:

If you have been selected in the lottery, the following message will be displayed:

Incorrect Information
If you enter incorrect details when checking the lottery results, the system will display an error message indicating a problem with the entered information. If you made a mistake with letters or numbers, you can carefully compare with the correct examples, identify the error, and correct it. After entering the information correctly, you will be able to access the result.
The information entered is not valid. Please review the confirmation number, last/family name, and year of birth.
If you win the lottery, a date will be set for your U.S. Embassy appointment. On that day, you will need to visit the U.S. Embassy in the designated country and complete the required steps, which typically include filling out initial forms with personal details. Following that, you will need to provide documents such as educational, employment, and financial records, and ultimately attend an in-person interview with the embassy officer.
