SAEDNEWS: Samsung, along with the Galaxy S24 series, has unveiled its AI capabilities known as Galaxy AI. Galaxy AI offers various features to users of Samsung Galaxy series phones. In this article, we will learn more about Samsung AI, its features, and how to use them.

The Amazing Capabilities of Samsung AI and How to Use Them

According to SaedNews, Galaxy AI by Samsung comprises a collection of different models, each with its unique functions. The Korean company has developed and trained some of these AI models entirely in-house, while others, like Circle to Search and Chat Assist, have been developed in collaboration with Google.

Some of Samsung's AI models run directly on the device, while others operate in the cloud.

However, not all Samsung phones will receive these AI capabilities. First and foremost, your device needs to have Samsung's One UI 6.1 to use these features.

Currently, the following devices support Galaxy AI features:

Phones:

  • Galaxy Z Fold 6

  • Galaxy Z Flip 6

  • Galaxy S24 series

  • Galaxy Z Fold 5

  • Galaxy Z Flip 5

  • Galaxy S23 series

  • Galaxy Z Fold 4

  • Galaxy Z Flip 4

  • Galaxy S22 series

  • Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3 (only Circle to Search and Chat Assist)

  • Galaxy S21 series (only Circle to Search and Chat Assist)

Tablets:

  • Galaxy Tab S9 series

  • Galaxy Tab S8 series

Introducing Samsung AI Features

Here are the different features of Galaxy AI by Samsung. The following models can assist you in searching, photo editing, translation, and other tasks.

Circle to Search is likely the most important AI feature on Samsung phones. With this feature, wherever you are in the device's user interface, you can perform an AI search by long-pressing the Home button (or long-pressing the bottom of the screen if gesture navigation is enabled).

You can then draw a circle around the content you want to search for using a stylus or your finger. Samsung developed this feature in collaboration with Google, which is why it is referred to as "Circle to Search with Google."

For example, if you see a video about an attractive dish on Instagram, you can draw a circle around it with your finger, and Google will display the recipe and other details about the dish.

With this feature, you no longer need to take screenshots or leave apps to search for specific content.

To activate this feature, follow these steps:

  1. Open Settings and tap on Display.

  2. Select Navigation Bar.

  3. Finally, enable Circle to Search.

To use the Circle to Search feature, your phone must be connected to the internet. Then follow these steps:

  1. Hold down the Home button.

  2. Draw a circle around the subject with your finger or stylus.

  3. Google will display the related results for the subject.

It's worth noting that Circle to Search is not exclusively developed for Galaxy phones. It can also be used on other Android phones, including the Pixel 8 and 8 Pro, likely due to the collaboration with Google.
