According to SAEDNEWS, Law enforcement authorities in the United States have released the name of the suspect involved in an assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump.
The suspect, identified as Ryan Wesley Routh, reportedly tried to shoot Trump during an incident near a golf club. According to Fox News, Routh was positioned between 270 to 450 meters away from the former president when he attempted the attack, pushing the barrel of his gun through a chainlink fence.
The FBI is now investigating this incident as a potential assassination attempt. Agents have arrived in West Palm Beach, Florida, to look into the situation more closely, as the area is known to be the location of Trump’s golf course.
The U.S. Secret Service has also confirmed that one of its agents fired at the armed suspect during this alarming event. As investigations continue, authorities are working to gather more details surrounding the attempted attack.
